Oberammergau & its famous Passion Play Tours

The passion play is not only a testimony of faith but also an outstanding major international cultural event.
Although the text and music have been adapted over the years, the traditional concept has remained intact. The play involves the whole village with local amateur actors portraying the Passion of Christ.
The 2010 season will last from mid May till late September, with five performances of the play per week. Bookings for the 2010 plays are very strong and these 4 escorted tours already have enough to guarantee their departure.
The village is set in the beautiful mountains of Bavaria and is also famous for it's the colourfully decorated buildings and for wood carving. You will see craftsmen producing beautifully detailed wooden clocks and other carvings.
Holy Land & Oberammergau Tour - 18 days
Combine the amazing experiences of the Holy Land and walk in the steps of Christ and the apostles, then travel through Austria and Bavaria for the Passion Play. The tour ends in Rome.
